I am feeling so tapped out.

For today I will be cleaning the house and trying to wipe this feeling of exhausted state out.

The kids are still under the weather, however feeling much better. They are outside while J does some yard work. They are edgey and hard to deal with. There is a lot of whining and discontent.

Am I the only one that struggles not to forget they are feeling ill? My patience is zapped.

Ethan got his H1N1 shot and is now really ill. Yesterday he was flushed and miserable. However he ate well and was ok ... then throughout the night he started coughing. This morning the poor little guy hasn't got out of bed. He has woken once, had some water and eventually fell back to sleep. I have never seen him this way. He has a fever but not to the extreme. Poor kid. When he was awake he was in good spirits so that is something. Not sure if this is in reaction to the vaccination or if he was sick before hand.

Becca is feeling better, she still has a sore throat but she is definitely on the up swing. Let's hope she continues. Cordelia is nursing nonstop but is generally in a good mood, content like always.

This is so way stressful. Having sick kids at the best of times is rough. I am so feeling cabin fever but cannot bring myself to leave the house.

Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

With only 8-9 kids showing up in her class of 24, it is not surprising Becca has now become sick.  She has had a sore throat since the beginning of the week, leaving her voice raspy. Her coughing is minimal, however yesterday she showed signs of getting more sick. Becca shows no signs of fever, but wow am I ever on edge.

Although she is running around the house, crazy with pent up energy this morning. We are keeping her home from school today. I am going to try to make sure she rests and takes it easy. She goes through peaks and valleys on how she feels.

Ethan is off with J to get his H1N1 vaccination at our doctor's office. He is still the only one that qualifies for the vaccination. I am so not one to worry like this. It is insane to be concerned with death when dealing with the flu and colds.

Cordelia is stuffed up and nursing constantly. J and I were talking strategics if Becca were to worsen, how to help her through. It is a horrible feeling knowing that I could not be the one to comfort Becca if she gets really sick. I have to nourish and keep Cordelia safe and healthy. Having to choose between them sucks.

Just to top it all off, it has begun to snow.

I am foreseeing a whole lot of tv in our near future *shudders*

How do you comfort your kids when they are sick? How do you get them to stay still?

I received an invite this morning for Google Wave and with no idea what to do with it. So, I'm watching a Google video on what the intended use for Google Wave is. The video is an hour and twenty minutes long. *smh*

At first glance it seems like a glorified e-mail account, which is what I thought G-Mail was.

I don't know if I like the 'view text while typing' feature being a default setting. I'm a bit of a messy typist. I also wonder about the implications of data mining for users of this service. I am mostly concerned about how Google is planning to use, archive, catalog, and ultimately monetize this potential goldmine of user generated content (UGC) with a EULA (by using this product you consent to *anything the company wants to do*) agreement. I'm going to give it a chance and see what happens.

Today was one of those whirlwind days. Halloweens parties, parades at the school, no naps, no time to pause and reflect ... just go go go.

Ethan enjoyed being "Bob the Builder". He had his own party at the library this morning. He is growing up so much. Enjoying having his own thing, his own interests, not being a tag along with his older sister.

Becca was thrilled to see me at the school. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy! I went in the afternoon and helped with costumes, then watched the school parade around the gym in their Halloween attire. Afterward Ethan, Cordi and I joined Becca and her class for a little Halloween party. Becca chose her costume that I created last year!

Meanwhile, Cordi decked out in her bunny costume basked in all the "Ooooo's" and "Ahhh's", content to tag along and soak it all in. She is such a cool baby.

My favourite part of the day was coming home, the weather was warm so the three kids and I played in the backyard. Talked, ran around, buried each other in leaves and had so much fun. It was so nice to be active with them and enjoy them.

Tomorrow we will head out through our neighborhood, trick or treating. To think last year at this time we were not even in our house yet!

I was just told that the Amazon Conduit will be fixed by tomorrow. I will post here as soon as I get word that it's back up and running.
